In August 2024 we were awarded a Silver Eco Church Certificate, through A Rocha UK’s Eco Project, in recognition of our efforts and achievements to care for God’s earth in the areas of:

-Worship and Teaching
-Management of Buildings and Land
-Community and Global Engagement
-Lifestyle.

This award came about through the contributions of many within our church family, who came together under the sponsorship of our Clergy Team and facilitated by our Eco Lead.

Our journey now continues towards Gold! - Embedding the progress through into the culture of our church in ways such as; expanding our Eco Corner and Eco Journal, developing climate resilience and external grounds monitoring policies, lifestyle seminar programmes, pursuing our net zero ambitions and supporting our children’s and young people eco-ambassadors.
