Churchwardens Announcement - New Rector of Cranleigh

The Bishop of Dorking and Acting Bishop of Guildford is delighted to announce that the Revd Natalie Worsfold has been appointed as Rector of Cranleigh, subject to DBS and medical clearance. She is currently Associate Vicar at Greyfriars, Reading in the Diocese of Oxford. We are hoping that Natalie and her family might be able to move during October, but details are yet to be confirmed.

Natalie says: ….. I am thrilled to have been appointed Rector of Cranleigh. Mike and I look forward to joining all that God is already doing in the village, and I am excited to discern with you all what Jesus’ words “follow me” will mean by way of mission and ministry. At the same time, we will miss all those at Greyfriars with whom we’ve had the privilege to laugh, cry and serve. I’m married to Mike, and we have an adult son, Thomas, who lives in Cornwall. Before ordained ministry, I worked in retail in IT and change leadership, experience I see as a real, God-given gift in ministry. I look forward to all that is ahead....

Please pray for Natalie and her family as they prepare to move.  We look forward to welcoming her to Cranleigh.
